We had a rite of passage in our home this past holiday season. We introduced our 11 and 9 year-old boys to Star Wars (the originals). Truth be told, they probably knew more about it than we realized. Lego marketing helped out a lot in that regard. We had fun watching together and talking about the characters and their choices and our favorite parts. It helped them appreciate even more the OMSI exhibits that they recently went to. Of course, at the end of each one they wanted to launch right into the next one. They didn't quite grasp what we meant when we told them that we had to wait years before we saw the "next" one, sometimes not even knowing if there would be a next one.
One of them received the Lego Star Wars Gameboy Advance game from Papa and Grandma. I'm looking forward to when it's my turn to play.
