Numbers 34 - CSB

Here's what stands out to me as I read this passage today:

"The Lord spoke to Moses: 'Command the Israelites and say to them, . . . the land . . . will be allotted . . . with these borders . . . .' "

"The Lord spoke to Moses,  'These are the names of the men . . . .  These are the names of the men . . . .' "  

"These are the ones the Lord commanded . . . ."

v13 - "So Moses commanded . . . ."

These borders  -  These men  -  These words

God chooses whom he will, where he will, leading them with what he has spoken.

Numbers 33 - CSB

Here are the phrases in this chapter that catch my attention:  "at the Lord's command" (twice); "At that time the Canaanite king of Arad. . . heard"; "The Lord spoke to Moses. . . “Tell the Israelites. . ."

Speaking . . . Hearing . . . Telling

Important. Authority and responsibility bound together for life lived to God's glory.
